Kuwait confirms its participation in SAFF Championship

The National Men’s Team of Kuwait will be competing in the 14th edition of the SAFF Championship to be held in Bengaluru, India, from 21 July – 4 June.
The Football Association of Kuwait confirmed its participation to SAFF on 3 May 2023.
With Kuwait’s participation, seven teams have been confirmed for SAFF Championship so far. SAFF is in correspondence with several others to increase the number to eight teams.
The SAFF Executive Meeting held on 31 March 2023 had decided to invite one or two teams from outside the SAFF region with a view to increase the number of teams for the championship and make the event more competitive.
