Nepal made a winning start to the SAFF Under-15 Women’s Championship 2018 handing Pakistan a 4-0 defeat in the day’s second match on 11 August 2018 at the Chalimithang Stadium in Thimphu, Bhutan.

The tournament comes to an end for Pakistan U15 women with two consecutive defeats. They lost to Bangladesh U15 women by 14 goals to nil in their first match.

Nepal U15 women, who finished bottom of the table in the first episode of this tournament last year, should be happy this time to start with a win.

The Himalayan girls did not take much time to open their account as Anushka Sherpa got them breakthrough in the 8th minute from a brilliant header off a corner kick. Sabita Rana Magar doubled the margin with a lofty shot from far outside right corner of the box that completely deceived the Pakistani goalkeeper.

After the second goal scored, Nepal made flurry of chances at the Pakistan goalmouth that did not see the lights.

Nepal U15 women were 2-0 at the first half.

The winners succeeded to extend scoreline to 3-0 in the 11th minute of the second half when Sabita Rana Magar pushed in the ball to the goal line as Pakistani goalkeeper failed to stop a lofty pass from her right side.

Rajani Thokar after three minutes stunned the Pakistani goalkeeper with a 20-yard ground shot that saw the goal margin reached 4-0.

With this defeat Pakistan ends the mission at the bottom of Group B.

Nepal is scheduled to take on Bangladesh in their next match on 13 August 2018 at the same venue.
