India bag second win

India registered their second win in the ongoing SAFF U-19 Women's Championship defeating Bhutan 3-0 in the match played at the Bir Sherestha Shaheed Shipahi Mostafa Kamal Stadium.

India have six points from two matches, while Nepal and Bangladesh have four points each.

Sumita Kumari opened the scoring for India in the seventh minute, while P. Devi Naorem got a brace scoring in the 43rd and 54th minute. 

"My girls did exceptionally well today. I am very happy with the way they played. We are getting better in every match and we shall give our best in the next match against Nepal," said Bhutan coach Tanka Maya Ghalley.

" Bhutan gave a good fight today. I think we could have done better in front of the goals. I have saying since the beginning, I want to give chance to all of my players. I did just that today as well. The next two matches are very important to us as it shall decide our fate in the competition. Bangladesh is very good squad and they have been together since a long time. I am expecting a tough fight," said India coach Ambrose Alex.
