Russia bag three points; Nepal defeat Bhutan

Russia defeated Bangladesh 3-0 to make a winning start in the ongoing SAFF U17 Women’s Championship being held at Kamalapur Stadium.
Captain Elena Golik scored a brace in the win for Russia with her first goal of the match coming as early as in the 5th minute. She got her second goal in the 45th minute.
Anastasia sealed the win for Russia scoring in the 66th minute.
In another match of the day, Nepal bagged three points from their 5-0 win against Bhutan.
Barsha Oli and Senu Pariyar scored a brace each, while Dipa Rokaya was also on the mark.
Oli scored in the 16th and 50th minute, while Pariyar was on the mark on the 34th and 58th minute. Dipa Rokaya scored in the 30th minute.
