A dominating Pakistan thrashed hosts Nepal 4-0 to join Bangladesh in the final of fifth SAFF Under-15 Championship at the ANFA Complex, Kathmandu, November 1, 2018.
After missing couple of scoring chances in the goalless first half, Pakistan completely outplayed the home side in the second half to manage a big win.
Pakistan had to wait 54 minutes to take the lead when Nepal defender Jaan Limbu put the ball into their own net trying to clear of square pass of Iftikhar Ahmed.
Mohib Ullah doubled Pakistan’s lead converting a penalty in the 59th minute after Limbu brought down midfielder Osama.
Pakistan were awarded another penalty in the 68th minute when Iftikhar was fouled by a Nepal defender inside box.
Mohib Ullah made no mistake to score again and extend Pakistan’s lead.
Mudassar Nazar completed the rout when he headed home an Asif Ali cross in 77th minute.
Earlier on the day, Bangladesh beat India 4-2 in the tie-breaker to move to the final.
The match went into penalty shoot-out after stipulated 90 minutes ended 1-1.
The final will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at same venue with the play scheduled to start at 2:30pm local time.
India and Nepal will play third place deciding match before the final.
