Bangladesh clinch SAFF U-20 Women’s Championship 2025 title

Bangladesh’s U-20 women’s football team delivered a flawless performance to win the 2025 SAFF U-20 Women’s Championship, held from July 11 to 21 at the Bashundhara Kings Arena and Sports Ground in Dhaka. The hosts emerged unbeaten champions, securing their fifth title with six consecutive wins in a double round-robin format.

  • Bangladesh finished with 18 points from 6 matches, scoring 28 goals and conceding only 4.
  • Nepal finished runners-up with 12 points, followed by Bhutan (6 pts) and Sri Lanka (0 pts).

In the decisive final match, Bangladesh defeated Nepal 4–0, with Mosammat Sagorika scoring all four goals. Returning from suspension, Sagorika’s hat-trick and a fourth goal in the 74th minute sealed the title in front of a home crowd.
