Digital Media & LMO Seminar held

April 24 (Colombo) – The South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) organized a seminar for media officers from across the South Asian region, held in Colombo, Sri Lanka, from April 22 to 23, 2025.

The two-day seminar featured sessions focused on media operations during competitions and the evolving role of digital media. These sessions were led by Mr. Nilanjan Datta, Senior Media Officer at the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), and Ms. Juhi Jamba, AFC Consultant for Digital Media Platforms. Their expertise provided participants with valuable insights into best practices and emerging trends in football media management.

Attendees received first-hand knowledge from industry experts on a range of topics, including global media trends in football, troubleshooting common challenges in media operations, and guidelines for effective media management during tournaments.

Notably, this was the first time a dedicated session on digital media was included, reflecting its growing significance in modern football. Participants welcomed the initiative and expressed enthusiasm about applying the knowledge to their daily work.

A total of 14 media officers from all seven member associations of SAFF took part in the seminar.
