SAFF holds SAFE Guarding in Football Seminar

The South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) organized the SAFF Safeguarding in Football Seminar 2023 with the support of the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA). This significant event brought together safeguarding officers from the Football federations of Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, and Pakistan, aiming to enhance best practices and safety measures within football.
The seminar with BRAC and Educo as their official facilitating partners, provided a platform for participants to get elaborated training that will strengthen their day-to-day activities. SAFF Vice President Sundar Narshing Joshi delivered the opening remarks, and Token of Appreciations was given from SAFF to ANFA, and the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).
Keynote speaker Victoria Koh, Safeguarding Manager at AFC, and Fatima Esha, Safeguarding Officer at SAFF shared valuable perspectives on cultivating a secure environment within football. The event was also attended by ANFA General Secretary Mr. Kiran Rai and Pema D Lama, Executive Committee Member of ANFA, reaffirming their commitment to fostering safety and respect.
The seminar ended with the pre-recorded closing remarks by the General Secretary of SAFF, Mr. Anwarul Huq and Token of Appreciations was given by SAFF to their facilitating partners

Through collaborative efforts, SAFF, ANFA, and their partners are spearheading positive change, ensuring the beautiful game remains enjoyable and secure for all.
