SAFF donates footballs to Educo, Bangladesh

The South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) donated 50 footballs to Educo Bangladesh, an NGO working for the welfare of marginalized community, as part of SAFF’s football development program.
SAFF General Secretary Anwarul Huq handed over the balls to Educo Bangladesh Country Director Abdul Hamid at the SAFF Headquarters in Dhaka on Wednesday.
The football development program is an initiative designed by SAFF with an objective to raise an interest in football amongst the marginalized children for their better wellbeing.
“We are grateful to have the footballs from SAFF for our marginalized children to promote football for development,” said Abdul Hamid, Country Director, Educo Bangladesh.
“We are extremely delighted to donate the football to Educo Bangladesh meant for the marginalized children. We sincerely hope our small contribution to them shall make a lasting effect in the lives of the beneficiaries,” said SAFF General Secretary Anwarul Huq.
