Meeting of SAFF region MAs held

The South Asian Football Federation held a meeting for the Presidents and General Secretaries of the member associations of the SAFF region in Kathmandu from 22-23 July.
The first day of the meeting which reserved for the presidents of the member asssociations was chaired by SAFF President Mr. Kaji Salahuddin who is also the president of the Bangladesh Football Federation.
The meeting discussed on the upcoming programs of the SAFF and the ways to get the best value from these events. The key discussion point, however, was the suitable formats for SAFF’s flagship competition: the SAFF Championship while discussions were also held on SAFF Club Championship, SAFF Women’s Championship and SAFF’s new proposal, SAFF U-23 Championship.
The next day of the meeting which was attended by the entire participants, including the presidents, general secrtaries and represetatives from the Pakistan’s normalization committee, focused their discussions on the overall development of football in the SAFF region.
Matters relating to smooth operations of the competitions organized by SAFF were also shared by the representatives of the member associations.
