India and Bangladesh advance to the finals

India and Bangladesh advanced to the finals of the SAFF U16 Championship 2023 following wins in their respective matches on Friday.
India routed Maldives 8-0 in the first semi-final of the match, while Bangladesh came from a goal behind to defeat Pakistan 2-1.
For India, Vishal Yadav (22’), Mohammed Kaif (36’), Levis Zangminlum (53’), Aiborlang Khartangmaw (62’, 82’), Manbhakupar Malngiang (70’), Md. Arbash (77’, 84’) scored.
In another semi-final between Pakistan and Bangladesh, Abdul Ghani opened the scoring for Bangladesh in the 6th minute, but MD Mursed Ali brought Bangladesh in level terms in the 14th minute. MD Abu Sayed scored the winning goal in 29th minute.
